Text Box: Text Box: Text Box:      Russet is everything we could have asked for from the combination of his elegant Mom "Maggie" (Champion Corhampton's Peggy Lee) and his handsome Dad, "Marty" (Multi BISS Ch. Lubberline's Martingale).  Plenty of bone, lovely coat, confirmation plus, and a gentle kind personality to complete the package. He is a lovely, deep yellow boy with an outstanding head, wonderful front, and excellent movement. Russet is a "happy go lucky"! His smiling face just melts your heart. He certainly suits his name "Golden Russet" by colour alone.  Russet has certainly reinforced what a joy it is to own, a male labrador!
We don't expect Russet to enter the show ring until he is closer to 12 months old because he is from a slower maturing line.  When he does we expect him to do very well.  Presently, he is just enjoying being a puppy! Romping in the pastures, chasing birds who land on the ground, and retrieving just about anything he can find.
